During the last few years DJ Taka has become one of the rising superstars of the Japanese dance scene. He holds residency at the legendary Protocol parties at Tokyo’s latest superclub WOMB. But not only in Japan Taka plays all around the globe from New Zealand to Bali and Europe. For example, he’s one of the very few international Djs who have played at Judge Jules Serious club night at the Cross in London. Actually, Taka did it twice cause Judge’s manager was so impressed of his performance.
Taka’s music is mixture of driven and tribal UK and US house and progressive with groovy techno and tribal trance influences. He also produces music with progressive supremo Stephane K and is a drummer of Stephane’s live PA. These many abilities has rised him to be a Japanese future DJ hero along side Satoshi Tomiie and Yoji Biomechanika.
